'The Carnival of the Animals'

The Company 17 Teatre presents this show where the textures, colors and silhouettes take us into the enchanted world of shadows. The music created by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886 accompanies this story where animals come to life to show the inner world of Enric, a boy of five years full of imagination and curiosity.

The Carnival of the Animals  is part of the program of the Teatre Infantil i Juvenil de les Illes Balears (Children's Theatre Festival Youth i Balearic Islands), which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Vilafranca de Bonany. It involves a total of 19 companies, most of Mallorca, which 23 shows over three days.

In addition to theatrical productions, the festival includes in its program activities such as parades, storytelling and a grand finale on Sunday 24 with children's entertainment, games and live songs.
