A sound journey through jazz of the decade of the 20s and 30s. The Bourbon Street Stompers, which are currently based in Germany, are recognized as one of the most prestigious traditional jazz septets in Europe. This time they will be accompanied by Joshua Stuart, a tenor born in New Orleans and graduated from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and who currently works with the Munich Opera.
The Bourbon Street Stompers is composed of: Daniel Wehsarg (bass), Axel P. Stephan (drums), Helge Sachs (clarinet, saxophone), Olaf Kalytta (trombone), Gunnar Sachs (trumpet), René Richter (banjo, guitar) and Carsten Bernoth (piano).
