The vocalists of this musical group have marvelled audiences around the world with their versions of spiritual classics and Broadway numbers. In 2014 performed in the I Festival of Sacred Music in Palma and are now back to close the third edition with the spiritual The Black experience.
The group was founded in 1995 by Everett McCorvey and its members have been singing in theaters as emblematic as the MetropolitanNew York City Opera, the Houston Grand Opera, and at venues in Italy, Germany, Britain, Scotland, Spain and Japan. Their repertoire ranges from black spiritual music to the classics of Broadway.
The American Spiritual Ensemble is composed of sopranos, alto, tenors and low.
