The forró is a musical and folk dance genre that has its origin in the popular festivals of northeastern Brazil, being a symbol of the San Juan festivities. This workshop is part of the Setmana de la Cultura Popular i Traditional 2021.
It is taught by Aninha Paschoal and Antoni Crespí, members of the Forró do Pulpo group. With him we will be able to know the basics of dance, its music, its culture and its rhythms.
