This a cappella quintet was created in 1982 by Paul Carrington and collects the great tradition of the famous gospel groups of the decades of the 30s and 40s. Also from their heirs, the doo wop groups that proliferated in the United States a decade later.
Besides Paul Carrington, Talk of Da Town consists of Carl Douglas, Stan Lockwood, Rayfield Ragler and Rodney James. Their extensive repertoire of Motown, R & B, soul and gospel includes famous songs of Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Otis Redding, among other figures of the genre.
This concert, which also participates Vint-&-Sing - Choir Youth Music School Ireneu Segarra, who runs Ramon Escalé - closes the 9th edition of the Jazz Voyeur Festival.
