The XXXVI Opera Season at Palma's Teatre Principal presents this production by the Opéra National de Bordeaux of Tales by Hoffmann, an opera in three acts with a prologue and epilogue, music by Jacques Offenbach and French libretto by Jules Barbier. It is based on a work that Barbier himself with Michel Carré had written about short stories by the Prussian writer E.T.A. Hoffmann.
With musical direction by Yi Chen Lin and stage direction by Vincent Huguet, the Cor del Teatre Principal, directed by Francesc Bonnín, and the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears, under the direction of Pablo Mielgo, participate.
