'Symphonies number 7 and 8 of Beethoven'

Subscription concert of the 2020-2021 season of the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears. It is held in memory of Traude Hager, and is conducted by the acclaimed Austrian conductor Leopold Hager (Salzburg, 1935).

The program is dedicated to two symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 7 in A major op. 92, written in 1811 when the composer was recovering from his health in the bohemian city of Teplice; and Symphony number 8 in F major, op. 93, premiered in 1814 and the only symphony by the German composer without dedication.
