Rock music returns to the Teatre Principal with performances by Australian Steve Smyth & The Outlaws and the Mallorcans Poomse, who will open the concert.
Steve Smyth with his vocal power and strong personality is one of the greatest songwriters of the current music scene. Navigating among many genres - folk, blues, rock, written songs – he has a strong songbook. His latest work, Exits, combines the power of pure rock'n'roll with fragile moments of emotion.
Poomse is the personal project of Llorenç Rosselló (former Petit), accompanied by Gaspar Reixach (Conan Keaton, Petroleo) and Josep Verdera (Son & the Holy Ghosts). His latest album is Poomse vs the Kingdom of Death (Foehn Records, 2014), a compilation of songs that may sound melancholy and dejected, but also bright and effective.
