The cycle SummerTime Jazz 2018 of the Coll Bardolet Foundation of Valldemossa opens with the performance of this quintet created at the beginning of 2017 to commemorate the great ones of Bebop.
This concert pays homage to trumpeter Fredie Hubbard and saxophonist Hank Mobley, remembering the Hard Bop of the sixties and seventies.
Speed Bop Quintet is formed by Alberto Moreno (tenor saxophone and arrangements), Ruben García (drums), Alain Martin (double bass), Sergi Sellés (piano) and Jaume Blázquez (trumpet).
