'Spanish dance recital'

Elena Arráez and Verónica Luque present this Spanish dance recital in which they recover the most outstanding musical pieces from the Spanish dance music repertoire. With all the variants of this dance and all the traditional elements of each style.

Spanish dance encompasses the styles of stylized dance, the bolera school, flamenco and the typical folklore of each region. The stylized dance is the most modern of these styles, and is presented with the typical flamenco heels along with the castanets of the bolero school.

The bolero school, the oldest of all styles, arose in the 17th century from classical dance; flamenco did it in the eighteenth century as a result of different. Not all the styles of each region are preserved, but the most popular ones such as the jota, the ezpata-dantza, the sardana, etc.

Apart from the different characteristic elements of each style, Spanish dance also presents artistic accessories that are normally used in all of them: the shawl, the fan, the cane and the bata de cola.
