SonsDeNit 2023: Marcel Cranc

Marcel Cranc is the project-band of the Mallorcan composer Miquel Vicensastre. In September 2016 he published two albums: De comienzos en comienzos que no tienen fin, entirely in Castilian, and Cases de sucre, an album in Catalan surprisingly rich arrangements and instrumentation.

After the publication of Fe (2018) and 1989 (2019), he now presents his new album, L'enemic (2022), where voice and piano are the main engines, but dressed in organic and synthetic sound layers that give it a special light.

Without neglecting the style that characterizes the band, on this album we find traces of contemporary music, touches of electronic music and hypnotic primitive folk arrangements.
