'Somniant déus'

Blai Bonet and Toni Catany meet again at this exhibition of literature and photography at the Sa Nostra Culture Center organized by the Department of Culture, Heritage and Sports of the Consell de Mallorca, Fundació Mallorca Literària and Fundació Toni Catany.

The exhibition is based on the work collected in the book Somniar déus edited in 1993, with photographs by Toni Catany and texts by Blai Bonet, and delves into the friendship relationship between both artists through the poet's texts and the images of the artist. photographer.

The exhibition Somniar déus is structured in four thematic areas and shows consists of 125 photographs, 40 of them unpublished, 4 transparent polaroids on silk (which are also unique pieces), calotypes, false calotypes on paper ..., in short, a cross-sectional selection of the techniques explored by Toni Catany (1942-2013).
