This project by Pere Faura, one of the most powerful figures of contemporary dance at national level and with the greatest international projection, is a show of and about dance. Through the use of 4 iconic choreographies of the history of dance, Sin baile no hay paraíso (No dance no paradise) proposes to re-incarnate and re-dance them as a symbolic gesture of admiration and recognition, but also as an exercise in humorous self-criticism of the world of dance and its referring artists.
Pere Faura, besides dancing, explains in a funny personal monologue his dreams, his problems and his vision about dance from the moment he has become a professional.
With projections and music by Arturo Castillo, Lena Mandottr, Jorge Drexler, Mistress Barbara and Pete Ilderton.
