A lyrical proposal for this fifth concert of the 2016-2017 Season of the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears. It is directed by Pablo Mielgo and features Maria Camps (soprano), Sandra Ferrándiz (mezzosoprano), Simón Orfila (under-baritone) and Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears.
The program is composed of a choral work and Symphony n. 9 by Ludwig van Beethoven, the last complete symphony of the German composer and whose choral ending, unusual at the time, has become a symbol of freedom.
