She has such a versatile voice that she as easilly sings jazz, folk or flamenco. A quality that Silvia Perez Cruz (Gerona, 1983) expresses forming part of such diverse projects as the play El jardí dels cinc arbres, the show Camarón, the legend of the time or the soundtrack of the film Snow White with guitarist Juan Gómez Chicuelo . With the song No te puedo encontrar she won the 2013 Goya Award for Best Original Song and in 2022 he received the National Prize for Current Music.
Along with Javier Colina Trio she recorded in 2011 the album En la imaginación (In the imagination), which won the award for best album of jazz and contemporary music in the IV Independent Music Awards and the ARC Award (awarded by the Association of Representatives, Promoters and Managers Catalonia) in the category of jazz and blues. As a soloist she has published two albums: 11 de noviembre (2012) and Granada (2014), with Raül Fernandez Miró.
Now he presents his latest work Toda la vida, un día, a work in five movements that reflects on the stages of existence and in which bolero, fado, choral music, a cappella tunes, flamenco, Mediterranean sounds come together... .
