Viatje a l'Ecuador is the title of the latest album by Mallorcan pianist Sergi Sellés, a solo piano album that he will record at this concert in the Son Marroig Music Hall within the XLV Deià International Music Festival.
Sergi Sellés has a double degree from the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands, specializing in Classical Piano performance and specializing in Modern Music and Jazz performance.
In 2015 he began his side as a composer in theater shows and has recently published the soundtrack for the feature film Xueta Island.
Viatje a l'Ecuador is made up of songs such as Alena, Bugambilia, C'as Torrer and, among others, Arena fina.
The XLV Deià International Music Festival is held from June 2 to September 29 with concerts at its various venues: Son Marroig (Deià), Sineu, Sa Bassa Rotja (Porreres) and Palau March (Palma). This year also the Graves Foundation in Deià, Centre Cultural de Jesús en Santa Eulàlia de Ibiza and the Casa del Poble de La Mola in Formentera. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is its artistic director.
