The Mallorcan artist Joan Cabrer (Palma, 1983) presents his solo exhibition Expansive Sequence at the Galería Maior in Pollença.
The title is already, consciously or unconsciously, a whole declaration of intentions as it connects with the term ‘expanded field’ coined in the 70s by the American critic Rosalind Krauss. With it she made reference to the theoretical and practical collapse that painting and sculpture suffered in that decade.
