Cinema al Municipal 2022 dedicates a series to the Italian filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini (Bologna, 1922-Ostia, 1975), on the centenary of his birth. One of the titles being screened is Saló o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (Saló or the 120 days of Sodom), a 1975 film directed and scripted by Pasolini based on the novel by the Marquis de Sade.
Four men meet in a mansion with four former prostitutes and a group of young persons of both sexes, partisans or children of partisans, who have been prisoners. Not recommended for those under 18 years of age. Original version in Italian with subtitles in Spanish.
