Forty years dedicated to rock, he published more than thirty albums, more than two thousand live concerts, legendary songs as Maneras de vivir .... All this and more is what represents Rosendo Mercado Ruiz (Madrid, 1954) in the history of Spanish rock. Now he parks life on stage with tour Mi tiempo señoriías...
In 1977 he created the group Leño with Ramiro Penas and Chique Mariscal, publishing three studio albums and one live with great acceptance by the public and critics. But in 1983, at the peak of success, the band decided to separate.
His first solo album was Loco por incordiar (1985) and since then has published a dozen titles. Since then Rosendo has received several awards with highlight la Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes en 2006 (the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 2006).
