This festival was born in 2011 as a result of the union of Matxin Festival and Festival Rockabilly , which were being held in Portocolom. It is organized by the association Es Puput Cultural and programs eleven hours of music in a natural environment.
The Rockin Matxin Festival 2017 will feature performances by the groups Mambo Jambo, Mad Martin Trio, Black Cats and Cool Daddies. DJ's: Boopin Brush, Lou Cypher and Ivan Presley.
There will also be performances of Esther Rorifika (dance), Big Clandestine Swing and the expeaker Chester Dinamita . Food Trucks and exhibition of custom bicycles and old American cars.
