This festival was born in 2011 as a result of the union of Matxin Festival and Festival Rockabilly, which had been celebrated in Portocolom. It is organized by the association Es Puput Cultual and eleven hours of music program in a natural setting.
The Rockin Matxin 2015 will feature performances of groups Wild Chicken, Hot Rodders, Chule Tones, Kick/Em Jenny, Cherry Munster Von Frightenstein, Esther Rorifi ka, Black Cats, Swing Band Monkey Doo and Dj Ivan Presley & Friends.
