It is a dialogue between the music of the shores of two seas, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. In it the warm voice of the Menorcan finds in the fado one of the best vehicles to express herself.
In De mar amar Rita Barber interprets songs sung in Portuguese, Catalan and Castilian, with fados from Amália Rodrigues and more contemporaries interspersed with Mediterranean melodies.
