Rick Astley

The British pop star, present in the lists of English hits since the 80s, is touring Spain with Hyundai Music Park, now making a stop in Palma.

With his baritone voice, Rick Astley (Merseyside, 1966) burst onto the music scene in 1987 with his debut single Never Gonna Give You Up, which propelled him as a pop star. It had only been two weeks since its release and it was No. 1 in Britain and soon after, in 16 European countries.

In the next two years he continued winning success and today retains the record of being the only male solo artist who has had his first eight singles in the Top Ten in Britain.
