Ricardo Gallén (Linares, 1972) is an acclaimed Spanish guitarist with a flourishing career. His inspired and innovative interpretations place him as a first-rate musician, while his revolutionary vision of guitar technique and teaching is the best proof of his quality.
He offers this recital at the 57th Festival de Pollença with a program consisting of Grande Sonate n.1 op.22, by Fernando Sor (1778-1839), Prelude, Fugue und Allegro BWV 998, by JS Bach (1685-1750), Sonatina Meridional, by MM Ponce (1882-1948), Carora, La Negra, by Natalia A. Lauro (1917-1986), La Catedral, by A. Barrios (1885-1944), Valsos op.8, n. 3 and 4, by A. Barrios (1885-1944) and Torre Bermeja, by I. Albéniz (1860-1909).
