On the brink of the 20th anniversary of Revolver, Carlos Goñi is one of the key names of the best Spanish rock. Such famous songs as Si es tan sólo amor, El roce de tu piel, Eldorado, No va más, Odio, Calle Mayor, Faro de Lisboa are part of the collective musical memory of this country.
In the 90’s he garnered the biggest hits of his career with the trilogy Basico, Eldorado and Calle Mayor. But Carlos Goñi never relaxed and continued pampering both the melody and the text of his songs.
With his latest work entitled 21 gramos he reaches a dozen albums on the market, and provides a fully identifiable sound, which however, keeps him safe from fads.
