The Romanian-born pianist Valentin Moldovan and the soprano Sílvia Fluixà offers this lyrical recital at Sa Màniga of Cala Millor.
Born in 1987 in Tirgu- Mures ( Transylvania ), Valentin Moldovan emigrated with his family to Mallorca in 1992. He has music in his genes - his father is a conductor and also pianist - clarinetist and at age 9 he offered his first concert at school. He was trained at the professional Conservatory of Music and Dance in Palma, where he made his first debut as a soloist, and at the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands.
In his still short but explosive career, Moldovan has received thirty prizes in competitions and has recently started developing his side as composer. His Nocturne No. 1 was broadcast by RTVE.
