The Mallorcan composer and cellist Gabriel Fiol (Felanitx, 1986) has just published his first solo album, Cello Works, now presented in Coll Bardolet Foundation. It is composed of three cellos works of his own with a style that fuses soundtracks and world music.
Despite his youth, Fiol has performed with numerous chamber ensembles and orchestras and collaborated with artists like Ara Malikian, Barry Sargent, Rumiko Harada or Andreu Riera, among others. He also took part in groups of different musical genres such as folk, rock and jazz.
