The Municipal Band of Palma offers this season concert framed in its turn within the commemorating events of the seventh anniversary of the death of the writer, philosopher and mystic Ramon Llull.
Directed by Salvador Sebastián, the concert features two world premieres of Bartomeu Oliver, commissioned by the Municipal Band itself: Sonadeta for band and Tango-habanera. Completing the program Mallorcan suite, by Bartomeu Artigues; Germanías, by Vicente Ortiz Gimeno; and The Great Mystic (Symphony no. 2), by José Ignacio Blesa.
