'Quitarse el sombrero'

The Coloradas company presents Quitarse el sombrero, a work by Blanca Alonso that tells us about a generation of intellectual women unrelated to the prototype of women of the time that existed and triumphed within the Grupo del 27.

Painters, poets, novelists, illustrators, sculptors and thinkers enjoyed national and international success in their time and, through their art and activism, challenged and changed the social and cultural norms of the Spain of their time.

But the freedom and creativity of those years were severely cut off with the outbreak of the Civil War, which led to the exile of the majority and historical and cultural oblivion by society. Language: Spanish.
