Esta orquesta se creó hace dos años y está formada por jóvenes músicos profesionales y de primer nivel de Mallorca. Es una formación flexible y variable, lo que le permite abordar un amplio repertorio sinfónico, desde Beethoven a la música barroca, la clásica o la compuesta en el siglo XX.
En este concierto, dentro del Ciclo de Música Antigua, sólo actúa el cuarteto formado por Juan Rodríguez Zarzo ( oboe) Alfredo Ardanaz Larrea (violín), Oriol Palau Costa ( violonchelo )y David Mohedano Lemauft ( continuo). Interpretará piezas de Telemann y Händell.
El Ciclo de Música Antigua llega a su decimo séptima edición, ofreciendo música comprendida entre el Renacimiento y el Barroco y dando a conocer el rico patrimonio artístico de Palma.
