With this book of memoirs, Xesca Ensenyat (1952-2009) won the Ramon Muntaner prize in 1992. Its reading introduces us to the life of Port de Pollença around the years 50-60 of the last century, offering a vivid picture of the time, with the presence of the American fleet.
Joan Fullana directs this adaptation to theater of Quan venia l'esquadra, dramatized by Joan Yago and starring Catalina Solivellas. Xesca Salvá and Joan Porcel are in charge of the staging.
