Qbamba

The new edition of Inca Jazz begins with this musical project with African roots and flavor. Their name, Qbamba, is a ritual meal in traditional weddings of Guinea Bissau to share among attendees.

They formed as a group in Barcelona in 2000 and have since released four albums. Its six members are from different countries and different continents: Mu (composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist of Guinea Bissau), Luis Rocha 'Spike' (clarinet and bass clarinet, Brazil), Zorrilla Camilo Garcia (percussion, Chile), Claudio Orazio Nervi (keyboards and piano, Chile), Didier Roch (percussion and flute, France) and the Senegalese dancer Anna Mbengue.

Inca Jazz 2013 combines jazz with tapas and wine thanks to the collaboration of the Association of Merchants and Restaurateurs of Inca. Before and after the four scheduled concerts delicious tapas and wine of Son Bordils will be offered at reasonable prices in the same cloister of Sant Domingo, where the concerts are held.
