The Mallorcan singer and songwriter Miquela Lladó was one of the leading figures of Nova Cançó in the 1960s. In 1981 she founded Música Nostra and in 1987 Siurell Elèctric, two emblematic folk groups in Mallorca.
Throughout her career she has visited the word of the poets on numerous occasions. In Poemes i cançons, accompanied on guitar by Jordi Tugores and Gori Matas on the accordion, she offers an intimate and personal tour of many of these poetic versions.
