El nombre de este grupo coral proviene de una obra para guitarra del compositor mallorquín Francesc Guerau y fue creado en 1999 por Pere Estelrich y Kym Amps. Un año después se convierte en uno de los grupos filiales de la Coral de la Universidad de las Islas Baleares.
Desde entonces se ha dedicado a impulsar, revitalizar y recuperar la música vocal compuesta en Mallorca y Cataluña durante los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII. En esta ocasión actúa en el espacio conventual de Sant Bernadí con Ars Musicae.
