The famous short novel by the Mexican writer Juan Rulfo, Pedro Páramo, comes to the theater with Mario Gas, who directs the assembly, and with dramaturgy by Pau Miró.
Performed by Pablo Derqui and Vicky Peña, it tells the story of Pedro Páramo, a humble man who becomes the chief of his town, Comala, which he himself will raze into a ghost town.
Years later, his son will return to the village and meet the ghosts of those who lived, discovering who his father really was and how he took advantage of the villagers, including his mother.
Pedro Páramo is a co-production of the Grec 2020 Festival of Barcelona, the Spanish Theater and the Teatre Romea. Language: Spanish.
