This project, now presented in The Library of Babel, is a collaboration between Patricia Veiret, grandniece the sculptor and painter Pazzis Sureda (1907-1939), and the American Will Pflaum, grandson of the writer Melanie Pflaum, who was inspired by the life of Pazzis for Bolero novel published in 1956.
Born in a palace, Pazzis became known hunger and disease, yet never stopped sculpting and creating. The newly discovered documents tell a story of passion, art, dreams, wealth, poverty, war, sex crimes, secrets, erotic fantasies, jealousy and infidelity. Pazzis: El Evangelio de Pazzis Sureda (Pazzis: The Gospel of Pazzis Sureda), bilingual edition, is a biography full of poetry, drawings, stories, dreams, and digressions.
