The Second Cycle of Great Masters of Piano organized by the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands brings us this outstanding pianist of the current music scene. Pavel Gililov was born in Ukraine and in 1978 emigrated first to Austria and then to the German city of Cologne. In 2005 he founded in Bonn the Telekon Beethoven Competition, of which he is artistic director and president of the jury.
In this concert he performs 'Moonlight' Sonata of Beethoven; The Alegre island of Debusssy; Mephisto Waltz of Liszt; and Sonata No. 2 in B flat major op. 35, by Chopin.
