The Orquestra de Cambra de Mallorca (OCM), conducted by Bernat Quetglas, offers this concert accompanied by projections and with Mario Marzo as solo piano.
The program for Pau i guerra (Peace and War) is made up of El invierno, by J. Ros; Concerto for piano and orchestra no. 11 in A major K414, by W.A. Mozart; and Chamber Symphony Op. 110B, by Dimitri Shostakovich.
This last symphony is based on the String Quartet no. 8 by the Soviet composer and was composed after visualizing the city of Dresden devastated by World War II.
