Benito Zambrano directs and adapts to the cinema the novel by Cristina Campos Pan de limón con semillas de amapola (Lemon Bread with Poppy Seeds), released in 2021.
The action takes place in the town of Valldemossa, in Mallorca, where two sisters who were separated in their teens meet again to sell a bakery that they have inherited from a mysterious woman whom they believe they do not know.
