A route to know the figure of Vicenç Mut, astronomer, historian, accountant, military and engineer of the seventeenth century. The only Mallorcan after whom was named a crater of the moon, Mutus.
Vicenç Mut i Armengol (1614-1687) was chronicler of the Kingdom of Mallorca and is a reference in the scientific revolution of the time. For example, he was the first to determine the almost exact latitude of Palma.
The tour, guided by Pep Marcús, begins in the gardens of the Cultural Center of Misericòrdia and ends at the Museum of Sant Carles.
