José María Moreno directs this fifth season concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, with which they pay tribute to Majorcan composer Bernat Julia (1922-2013).
Canon of the Cathedral of Mallorca, Julia was the founder of the Mallorcan Capella, a polyphonic grouping of great prestige inside and outside the island is also involved in this concert besides the soprano Paula Rosselló.
The program is composed of Obertura elegíaca 'In Memoriam Bernat Julià' of David León Fioravanti and two compositions Bernat Julia: Fantasia Balearic and El Pi de Formentor.
