The current head of the Symphony Orquestra Ciutat de Palma ', Josep Vicent, directs this third concert of the 2013-2014 season, which also involves soloists and the choir of the University of the Balearic Islands under the direction of Joan Company.
Much of the program is dedicated to the music of JS Bach: Fantasy and Fugue op. 86, Cantata, BWV 118, 'O Jesu Christ, mein's Lebens Licht, Cantata, BWV 68,' Also hat Gott die Welt geliebt' and Cantata, BWV 50,' Num ist das Heil und die Kraft '.
The rest of the program consists of a Dream Summer Night (scherzo) of F. Mendelssohn, Barcarolle by J. Offenbach and Christmas songs as We wish you and Silent Night, among others.
