Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears

This ninth concert of the 2014-2015 season will undoubtedly br charged with emotion. Lluis Remartínez, chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra 'Ciutat de Palma' since its foundation in 1989-1994, was to direct it again in this concert dedicated toThe Creation, the famous oratorio composed by Joseph Haydn. But his sudden death last January 7 tinges this event with mourning.

In substitution, the concert will be directed by Pablo Mielgo. As soloists will perform Felicitas Fuchs (soprano), Alain Damas (tenor) and Tomeu Bibiloni (baritone). Accompanied by the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, under the direction of Joan Company.
