José María Moreno directed to 'Ciutat de Palma' in this concert that closes the II International Music Festival Vila Santanyi. It acts as a guest guitarist Pedro Mateo.
The program consists of four Spanish music composers and begins with a selection of La Cova del Drac by Mallorcan artist Miquel Marqués, the first time you touch in Mallorca this work of the great nineteenth-century symphonist. Continue with Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Roddrigo with Pedro Mateo solo guitar, suite from the opera El castell d'aniràs i no tornaràs (Castle you'll never go) by Jaume Mas Porcel and suite nº 2 of El sombrero de tres picos (The three-Cornered Hat) by Manuel de Falla.
The concert was held in aid of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
