Tenth concert of the Season 2016-2017 of the OSIB directed again by its chief conductor Pablo Mielgo. As a soloist will perform the Armenian pianist Sergei Babayan (Guimri, 1961), who in 2015 interpreted two Prokofiev concerts on the BBC Proms with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev.
The program consists of Piano Concerto No. 3 by Sergei Rachmaninov; Sources of Rome and Pines of Rome, both works of the Italian composer, conductor and musicologist Ottorino Respighi.
