The fifth concert of the subscription season of the Symphonic is led by the current chief conductor of the orchestra, Pablo Mielgo, and is a lyrical proposal with the German bass baritone soloist Reinhard Hagen as main soloist.
Also featuring soprano Felicitas Fuchs, mezzo-soprano Stefanie Iranyi and tenor Oliver Johnston, besides la Coral Universitària (the University Choir) directed by Joan Company.
The program consists of Her Sacred Spirit Soars, of Eric Whitacre (Nevada, USA, 1970), considered one of the foremost composers of our time, and Symphony No. 9, Op. 125 of L.V. Beethoven.
