Turn of the titular orchestra of Baleares in the 56th Festival of Pollença with this concert directed by Pablo Mielgo. Soloists Julian Rachlin (violin), Mischa Maisky (cello) and Alexei Volodin (piano) perform with a program dedicated to Beethoven and Sibelius.
Created in 1988, the Symphonic Orchestra Illes Balears is currently one of the symphonic referents in Spain. Since 2014 its titular director is Pablo Mielgo, considered one of the most important Spanish musicians of his generation. He shares the artistic direction with Joji Hattori, principal guest director.
