This formation closes the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
Directed by Alfredo Oyagüez Montero, tenured professor at the Conservatory and as soloist will perform cellist Asier Polo, who joins this cycle as a visiting professor of Basque Musikene.
The program consists of: Overture to 'The Magic Flute' (Mozart), Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in A minor Op 33 (C. Saint-Saens), Three Movements Tanguísticos Porteños (Astor Piazzolla) and Symphonic Dances from 'West Side Story (Leonard Bernstein).
