After their musical tour this summer through the European capitals, the Orchestra Barocca Siciliana flies to Mallorca to participate in the XI Festival Internacional de Música Antiga de Caimari 2021. This second concert of the festival is held in the new church of Caimari with a program that takes by title El violín De Oro.
The Orchestra Barocca Siciliana, which in this concert becomes the Orquesta Barroca de Sicilia, was created in 1986 at the initiative of the flutist Piero Cartosio, with the aim of disseminating ancient music in the regional sphere. Throughout its history, the OBS has promoted numerous concerts in the Palermo area in which the best artists on the international scene have performed.
