In 2012, the hundredth anniversary of the discovery of Son Peretó and the start of the excavations in this archaeological site, located six miles from the Museu d’Història (Museum of History) of Manacor.
This year six interments more have been located and documented as the rooms that are next to the apse of the basilica are still employed after abandonment. The field director of the excavation, Mateu Riera, explained in this visit to Son Peretó all the news.
